Small World visits Devon schools
07 December 2010
Each year, RAMM delivers packages of fascinating objects from our world cultures collection to local schools. The packages are designed for in-depth, hands-on learning in global citizenship classes, addressing issues of identity through the theme of world fashion. They are also used to enrich the global dimension of cross-curricular themes and to highlight specific aspects of subjects like history, geography and art.
The programme is called Small World and this year the packages have gone to St James’ School in Exeter and Torquay Girls’ Grammar School.
