A Million Thoughts
In December 2011 RAMM reopened after a multi-million pound refurbishment with the galleries, facilities and services expected of a truly modern museum.
Key to the redevelopment project was the way RAMM engaged with people. The displays aim to do more than re-present the collections, they intend to stimulate thoughts and ideas, seek opinions and contributions, start conversations and encourage debate, making the Royal Albert Memorial Museum home to a million thoughts.
There are so many ways to join in with RAMM, whoever you are, wherever you are there is bound to be something for you.
We also run special projects and activities and our volunteers visit clubs and societies all over Devon. You can also find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Get involved, share your news and views and be part of a home to a million thoughts.
RAMM’s redevelopment was an Exeter City Council project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
