Building a new collections store
Building a new collections store was critical to the delivery of the main RAMM project. Any major problems with this project would have delayed the start of the work at RAMM as it is here that the city's collections are being stored during the construction phase in the main building.
The Ark is an energy efficient and ecologically sustainable building. It was built between November 2006 and October 2007 and was ready to receive the collections in November 2008.
