Carnival of the Animals

Our celebrations begin on Saturday 21 April with the Carnival of the Animals and everyone is invited!

Internationally-known carnival experts Shademakers UK will be creating spectacular puppets that will perform and move through the streets. Throughout the day there will be a party atmosphere with city-centre activity hubs, music from Jazz to Taiko, RAMM handling collection, face painting, Victorian juggling and there’ll be a few surprises along the way too. You will also be able to make your own mask and join in with the parade. You can download a PDF with four different animal masks to choose from, or you can pick one up from the Shop at RAMM for free, whilst stocks last.
