Michele Green – Assistant Curator
I work with the Fine Art collection. RAMM’s art collection is rich and varied. It is a fantastically varied collection, consisting of over 7,000 paintings, prints, drawings, watercolours, miniatures and sculptures. These date from the 1400s to the present day. Important British artists are represented with particular emphasis on the South West. I develop and curate the museum’s fine art hangs which feature a regularly changing selection of art work.
Please note I work part time: usually Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

I have a degree in Art History (University of Wales Aberystwyth) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Museums and Collections Management (Bournemouth University).
I have worked for both regional and national museums. As Collections Assistant for the National Museums Scotland I worked on the Royal Museum Project-a multi million pound development of the Royal Museum building within the National Museum of Scotland. I have also worked for Glasgow Life as a Documentation Officer for the decant of the collections as part of the development of the Riverside Museum. Both these roles allowed me to work across all collection areas. Recently I worked as Project Officer for The Wilson in Cheltenham. I worked to improve accessibility to the Emery Walker Archive; a wonderful collection of Private Press books with material from William Morris’s Kelmscott Press, the Doves and Ashendene Presses and others.
