Beyond the Frame
Discovering the artist through RAMM’s collections
This exhibition gave an opportunity to discover the various decisions, personal and artistic, which artists make. What does the artwork reveal about its creator? Visitors had the chance to discover something new about works by artists such as Thomas Patch, Francis Hayman, John Constable, Duncan Grant and Barbara Hepworth in RAMM’s Fine Art collection.
The works in the Beyond the Frame exhibition were curated, chosen, researched and interpreted by students and tutors from the University of Plymouth Art History and Fine Art departments with the support of RAMM.
