RAMM exhibition at Exeter Picturehouse: Artful Encounters
Intriguing images of RAMM taken by photographers with an eye for the unexpected Devon-based photographers Dave Bird, Ollie Hall, Lou Horton and Tim Steer all wandered into RAMM not long before its major redevelopment began and they all found irresistible subjects to photograph. With a taste for the absurd and an artful sense of humour, they singled out lone animal exhibits, mused on the collections, abstracted close-ups and found witty angles of RAMM’s objects. Unbeknown to RAMM and to each other, they exhibited their photos and gained a cult following on the internet site Flickr.com.
