About the Development Trust

One of the Development Trust Committee

The trustees, supported by patrons, raise money towards the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of RAMM.

Founded in 1994, it has played an essential role in raising money towards major development projects: £143,000 was raised towards the redevelopment of the World Cultures Galleries, which reopened in June 1999 and £153,000 for the 2007-2011 redevelopment and refurbishment programme.

The Development Trust raises money by soliciting grants, developing the business club and a lively programme of events.

Lectures and special events are advertised on the What's on pages and free subscription to RAMMmail, the Museum's electronic information service, gives regular reminders of all events and activities.
