We asked people who took part in Moving Here what they thought about their experiences of viewing, handling and talking about RAMM’s objects.
Here are some comments:
“It has been a great pleasure and an honour to take part in these hands on sessions. Thank you very much for inviting me.”
“It’s good to have a curator presenting stuff. It’s good that a curator has knowledge of other cultures. It’s good for black people to know that.”
“I was dubious at first, but I found it very interesting.”
“I liked the fossils and I liked the butterflies… Very educational.”
“It gets you thinking about your own culture. It’s getting back a bit of your own identity.”
