Big Box – learn, collect, curate with our new online interactive

The Big Box website

03 February 2013

Inspired by RAMM’s stunning floor-to-ceiling courtyard display, Big Box is a new e-learning interactive that allows children to select their favourite objects from RAMM’s collections, build their own collection and share it with other budding curators. Designed to encourage 7 to 11 year olds to learn about collections and conservation, it has also proved popular with many older children.

Big Box can be found in the Fun things to do section of Young RAMM. Animated curators are there waiting to help.

Working with winners

Big Box was developed by Brighton-based developers Make Sense Design, winner of the silver award for Best use of Rapid e-learning at the 2012 E-learning Awards. Make Sense Design also created the popular Roman Mosaic interactive.

RAMM’s online interactives can be found at Explore RAMM online.
