RAMM is full of treasures: some large and some small, some of obvious value and others obscure. There are so many it’s impossible to take them all in on a single visit and near impossible to choose a favourite. But that is exactly what a bold group of young people have done and they are inviting you to come and seek them out.
Find the bird that looks like Elvis and shares its name with a large African mammal
Costing only 50p, the hunt will take you all through all the permanent displays and make you take a fresh and imaginative look at the objects. Twenty clues will lead to twenty objects but you’re sure to find many other treasures and perhaps your own favourite on the way.
I’d recommend the Museum to everyone; it’s good fun
Available at the Garden Reception, the Treasure Hunt was developed by an enthusiastic group of young people during an innovative partnership project. Adults working on the project were impressed with the young people’s commitment and genuine interest.
