Visitors wishing to commission their own prints from the exhibition Any High Street can order them from artist Volkhardt Muller in the gallery on 18 September or on the last day of the exhibition: 22 September. Assisted by a group of keen volunteers, Volkhardt will be making the prints from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Tuesday 18 September and between 10.30am and 1pm then from 2 to 5pm on Saturday 22 September.
Volkhardt commented “The exhibition has attracted people aged eight to eighty, local and international. The first commissions were all very small, starting at £2.50, but have become progressively larger and I’ve now had over 120 commissions. They’re mainly local but quite a few from around the country and some from overseas. Some are bought as mementos of Exeter, some as decorations and some have been bought by art collectors. I am delighted with the response to the exhibition and will be taking it to Taunton when it leaves RAMM.”
Any High Street opens at the Brewhouse Taunton on 6 October 2012.
