The newly redeveloped RAMM has received the seal of approval from the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service (VAQAS), VisitBritain’s consumer-focused quality assessment of visitor attractions.

Jeremy Brinkworth, Director of Business Development at VisitEngland presented the certificate following the renewal of accreditation in May. RAMM first acquired accreditation in 2004.

To attain and retain VAQAS accreditation RAMM has to maintain a good level of customer service and quality in a wide variety of disciplines. These include interpretation, staffing, visitor information, services and facilities, café and retail services, cleanliness and other general observations.
