A busy bee playing with the miniature medieval longhouse

Free wifi

Getting online in the museum is easy with the free wifi network, enabling posts and tweets even while a visit is taking place. Just connect to RAMMuseum and follow the login instructions.

Bee bags

RAMM’s bee bags have been specially designed for parents and carers to make the most of a visit with young children. They contain a selection of toys and ideas for exploring, are free to use and can be borrowed from both receptions.

Quizzes

Either buy your quizzes at reception or downloaded them here: Think Links 1 & 2, Think Links 3 and Treasure Trail.

Gallery Handling

Explore authentic second world war objects with people who served in the war and remember it first hand.

Second and last Tuesdays in the month, 12 to 2pm in the Making History Gallery.

RAMM’s interactive exhibits offer the chance to try on Roman clothing, make a mosaic, examine microscope slides, have fun with a miniature medieval longhouse, learn about insect noises and build a bird: all are free.
