Defend Exeter – the video game
5 October 2018
Defend Exeter is a video game for Windows, based on Roman Devon. It was developed by Exeter College students, using resources and inspiration from RAMM and is free to download and play. Your task is to build and defend a Roman settlement against barbarian attacks. With limited resources and time, can you defend Exeter?
The Seaton Down Hoard and Late Roman Devon were the inspiration for the game. The background setting is of the Roman Empire under pressure from barbarian peoples. Players must manage time, money, people and materials to defeat waves of attacks by barbarians.
