National Lottery players – #ThanksToYou
27 November 2018
RAMM is delighted to be able to join with other heritage organisations to collectively say a big #ThanksToYou to all National Lottery players. If it wasn’t for them buying the tickets, RAMM’s major 2007 to 2011 redevelopment, many projects like the purchase of the Seaton Down Hoard, Living Here and Finding our Roots and exhibitions like Dartmoor: A Wild and Wondrous Region just wouldn’t have been possible.
Four free tours for ticket holders
Join #Thankstoyou Discovering Africa: 30 minute introductory tours at 11am or 2pm on Tuesday 4 December and see the newly refurbished African Collection in the World Culture gallery.
Join #Thankstoyou Roman Devon and the Seaton Down Hoard Tours at 11.30am or 2pm on Thursday 6 December and learn about the discovery of the Seaton Down Hoard and life in Roman Devon and Exeter (30min).
National Lottery players are invited to reserve their places online then bring their lottery tickets, either paper or digital, to collect a free tour ticket from the Garden Reception.
National Lottery players make an enormous contribution to heritage. Thanks to them, the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has £30million a week to distribute to good causes all over the UK. The #ThanksToYou campaign aims to thanks them and highlight the extraordinary contribution that they have made. From 3 to 9 December, organisations that have benefitted from HLF funding are offering them special deals.
