Annual General Meeting
The 51st Annual General Meeting for the Friends of RAMM was held on 17 July 2019 with 39 Friends in attendance – a larger number than usual. After the meeting everyone enjoyed a thought-provoking talk by Tony Eccles, Curator of Ethnography, on cultural diversity and RAMM’s ethnographical collection.
The meeting approved the report and accounts for 2018-19. During that year, the Friends made grants to RAMM totalling £14,835.32 in support of the Sea Life exhibition, the conservation of In Sight! In her report to the meeting, Camilla Hampshire expressed her appreciation to the Friends, welcoming in particular their role in spearheading fundraising campaigns and leveraging additional resources.
