The Bedwyr Williams Face-Off
27 April 2018
RAMM’s latest competition invites you to put your best face forward and win the chance to have your chosen image featured in a spectacular display by internationally-acclaimed artist Bedwyr Williams.
Bedwyr Williams’s art commission for RAMM’s 150th anniversary will see him take faces found on artefacts throughout the museum’s collections and place them high upon the walls in RAMM’s Queen Street stairwell. We want you to search your own homes to find any objects which feature ugly, beautiful, scary, striking or intriguing human (or human-like) faces. Send us your best image of the object to be in with a chance of winning. You can send more than one object to double your chances! Bedwyr himself will be deciding upon the winning face and the winner will receive a host of prizes:
- The object will be professionally photographed at RAMM and then used in Bedwyr’s artwork displayed in RAMM’s foyer.
- The winner and guest will be invited to an exclusive launch of the artwork.
- The winner will get the chance to meet and talk to Bedwyr.
- The winner will received a digital version of the professional photograph to keep and enjoy.
Do you have the object to face-off the rest of the competition? Visit The Face-off competition page to submit your entry.
